Our Partners

Building Our Partner Network

Akim International Community Foundation, Inc. is in its early stages and is currently working through local volunteers, community leaders, and faith communities. As we grow, we are actively seeking like‑minded organizations to collaborate on humanitarian aid, education, health, and WASH initiatives.

Why Partnership Matters

Partnership is at the heart of AICF’s approach. We believe that lasting impact is possible only when we combine local insight with shared resources and collective effort. As a lean, community‑focused organization, we work alongside partners rather than above them, co‑designing projects that are practical, respectful, and achievable with available resources.

  • Local insight: We listen first and trust our partners’ knowledge of their communities.
  • Practical solutions: We focus on simple interventions that are affordable and sustainable.
  • Shared accountability: We value transparency and clear roles, from planning to reporting.
  • Mutual learning: We see every project as an opportunity to learn and improve together.

We are open to working with a range of organizations that share our commitment to dignity, integrity, and community‑driven change.

Potential partners include:

  • Community‑Based Organizations: Local groups serving low‑income families, youth, or women through education, health, or livelihood programs.
  • Faith Communities: Churches, mosques, and faith‑based organizations that are actively involved in humanitarian and social support.
  • Schools and Youth Organizations: Educational institutions and youth clubs that seek to strengthen learning, mentoring, and life‑skills opportunities.
  • Health and WASH Organizations: Clinics, public health teams, and WASH actors focused on basic health education, water, sanitation, and hygiene.
  • Funding and Philanthropic Partners: Foundations, donor networks, and businesses that wish to support focused, community‑led projects.

Because AICF is a growing organization, we keep our partnership process straightforward and relationship‑driven.

Typical steps include:

  1. Initial Conversation
We begin with a conversation to understand your mission, priorities, and how they align with our focus areas and geographies.

  2. Concept and Planning
Together we outline a small, clearly defined project or collaboration, including objectives, roles, budget, and basic monitoring plans.

  3. Implementation and Learning
We implement the agreed activities, maintain open communication, and share simple reports and lessons learned. Stronger relationships may lead to larger or longer‑term collaborations.

If you believe your organization’s work aligns with AICF’s mission, we would welcome a conversation about potential partnership.

Explore Partnership Opportunities

As a newly established foundation, AICF is in the early stages of developing formal partnerships in Minnesota, Liberia, and other parts of Africa. We are currently engaging with local leaders, community groups, and faith communities to identify shared priorities and pilot small projects.

As formal partnership agreements are signed and joint initiatives are launched, we will highlight them here to recognize our partners’ contributions and to demonstrate how collaboration is improving the lives of children, youth, and women.
